25 Day’s Of Beauty: Day Eight

Welcome back to Day Eight of 25 Day’s Of Beauty.

In today’s box I received a travel size tube of Formula Absolute Ultimate Sleep Cream. This is another one of those night creams that claims to work overnight as you sleep to rehydrate, plump and fight the signs of ageing.

We’re not starting the second week of this calendar well. Again this is a product that has been seen in previous years and whilst I understand they want to promote their own beauty brand, this could have easily been replaced by another product, especially since there has already been a Formula Absolute product in the Calender. A nice enough product but doesn’t work with my skin so this will just be sat in the box until my next donation/Declutter.

25 Day’s Of Beauty: Day Three

Welcome back to my 25 Day’s Of Beauty Series where I unbox my Marks And Spencer Beauty Advent Calender for you.

For Day Three I received a travel sized tube of the Formula Absolute Total Eye And Lip. Trying to find some information on this product is difficult because the packaging gives you nothing. And even the M&S website gives a minimal description of what actual product other than moisturise the eye and lip area, choosing instead to focus on what the brand itself stands for and how long it’s been running.

I’m not going to lie, I’m not going to use this. I’m very particular about what I put around my eyes and after past experiences with this brand, I think it’s a wise decision. My biggest bug bear about today though is the size of the box that this came in. Think roughly the size of a £1 carton of roses and that’s the size of this box. Which compared to the size of the product is ridiculous. I get they have a design but if you going to use a box that size, at least make sure the product fills more than a quarter of the box.

Marks And Spencer Beauty Advent Calendar Days Seventeen, Eighteen and Nineteen

Welcome back to Days Seventeen, Eighteen andd Nineteen in my 25 Days of Beauty Series where I show you what I get in my Marks and Spencers Advent Calender. Let me just quickly apologise for not posting as reguarly with these, work and life has been ultra hectic so these extra unboxings have sort of been pushed aside in favour of working on my main posts.

In Day Seventeen's box I recieved a tube of the Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream. I'm looking forward to trying this out. It claims to help with dark circles and puffiness, two things my eyes are struggling with at the moment. You'll know if I like this as I'll probably feature it in my favourites at some point.

In Day Eighteen's box I recieved a tube of the Formula Absolute Ultimate Night Cream. Again this is something that we've recieved before and it's not a bad products, it just doesn't work with my skin. It's a little too fragranced for my skin to handle but if your skin doesn't react to scented lotions then this is perfect for you.

And in Day Nineteen I recieved a miniature Autograph Blusher Brush. I don't wear blusher or even use brushes anymore when I get ready so this is a bit of a waste on me. I'll probably add it to my to donate pile as it seems like it's really nice soft brush, it's just not for me.

Marks And Spencer Beauty Advent Calender Day Twenty Three

Welcome back to Day Twenty-Three in my 25 Days of Beauty Series where I show you what I get in my Marks and Spencers Advent Calender.

In today's box I recieved a tube of the Formula Ultimate Sleep Cream. It's a thick night cream that works as you sleep to make it look like you've had eight hours sleep even if you haven't. This is very similar to the Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream in that it hydrates, plumps and soothes skin whilst you sleep.

I've been looking forward to trying this product out. I'm a big fan of the Garnier Miracle Sleeping but ever since I've heard about this product, I've wanted to try it. And tonight is the night. It feels a little thicker than the Garnier but still feels very hydrating and soothing on the skin. A full review/comparison of this will be coming after I've given this a full trial.

Marks And Spencer Beauty Advent Calender Day Ten

Welcome back to Day Three in my 25 Days of Beauty Series where I show you what I get in my Marks and Spencers Advent Calender.

In today's box I recieved the Formula Radiance Reveal Peel. This sounds like it could be a brilliant product. It's a thin cream that you apply to dry skin and rub in like you would a moisturiser but instead of sinking in, this cream works to loosen and remove dead skin cells which then reveals skins radiance and gives back that healthy glow.

I'm really intrigued by this product. There are no AHA's in the ingredients key, the usual ingredients when it comes to exfoliation which to me makes this product a mystery. I popped a bit on the back of my hand out of curiosity, it seemed a bit like a normal cream on my skin but when I started to rub it it, the cream went from being smooth to a slightly grittier texture and small balls started to form on my hand. Upon reading up on this product, the small balls turned out to be dead skin cells that the peel had removed as I rubbed it in. And if it felt that good on the back of my hand, I can only imagine how good it's going to feel on my face. I'll be definitely doing a full review of this, so keep your eyes peeled (excuse the pun) in the new year.
