Welcome back to 25 Day’s Of Beauty.
In today’s box I received a travel size tube of the Philip Kingsley Body Building Weightless Shampoo. I don’t know anything about this shampoo but having tried other products from Philip Kingsley over the years so I’m under the assumption that it’ll be a good product.
I highly doubt I’m going to reach for this product but I’m not disappointed in having received it in the box. It makes a change from receiving the Elasticizer which has featured in the Calender for the last couple of years.

Marks And Spencer Beauty Advent Calender Days Six And Seven
Welcome
back to Days Six and Seven in my 25 Days of Beauty Series where I show you what I get in
my Marks and Spencers Advent Calender.
In Day Six's box I recieved a generous sized tube of the Philip Kingsley The Elasticizer. This is another one of those products that features in the calendar every year. And considering I've recieved it for the last two years running, I've never actually tried it. From what I can remember it's a pre shampoo treatment that's supposed to nourish hair and comes in several scents. This is the Pomergranite and Cassis scent but I have recieved the original before as well as another I can't remember.
And in Day Seven's box I recieved a product that is exclusive to this calendar and can't be found anywhere else. It's the Skyn Iceland Berry Lip Fix. And when I say you can't get it anywhere, I mean it. There isn't even any information about this on the M&S website. I do love a good lip balm/lip fix product so I've been wearing this today instead of my normal Palmer's lip balm. It's nice, it hasn't done anything extraordinary to my lips and feels a lot different to the type of lip balms I normally use. I will definitely continue to use this and see if it changes how my lips look and feel over a longer period of time.

Mark's and Spencer Beauty Advent Calender Day Fifteen and Sixteen
Welcome back to Day Fifteen of my Mark's and Spencer Beauty Advent Calender Unboxing. Today I'm throwing together both day fifteen and sixteen. Due to technical issues last night I couldn't get Day Fifteen up in time.
In Day Fifteen's box I recieved one of the Rosie For Autograph Lip Glossy in the shade Supermodel Smile. These lip gloss sticks are non sticky, easy to wear and long wearing. This shade is a stunning nude shade that'll suit a multitude of skintones and looks. They also come in this stunning rose gold packaging that just gives it a gorgeous finish.
First Impressions:I already own one of these in the shade Sun Kiss. They are so pigmented, easy to apply and don't feel sticky or uncomfortable to wear. For a gloss finish they can last very long on the lips but do need retouching if you eat or drink. I'm definitely going to be getting a lot of wear out of this.
And in Day Sixteen I recieved a tube of the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer. I think this actually came in a box last year aswell. This is a pre shampoo treatment that is supposed to moisturise hair and leave it feeling soft, supple and easier to style. It contains Castor Oil and Olive Oil which helps add moisture, bounce and shine.
First Impressions: I like the idea of this product but I didn't try it last year and I'm not sure if I like the idea enough to try it this year. If you have some spare time and washing your hair isn't a chore (it is to me) then definitely give this a go. If I change my mind I will let you know and a review will probably appear on here at some point.

Marks and Spencers Beauty Advent Calender Review
Back in November Marks and Spencers released their very first Beauty Advent Calender. I brought it on the day it was released but only a week after I got mine, I went back in and they were all gone. It was on a spectacular offer as well. Everything inside was worth £200 and that was the original selling price of the calender. But if you spent £30 or more on any of their beauty ranges you got the calender for a brilliant £25. And it wasn't hard to spend £30 on beauty for me.
The box is a decent size and inside you recieve twenty four indentically sized boxes and in each box you recieved either a deluxe sample size or a full size product from one of the many brands that Marks and Spencers sell in their beauty hall.
To say the wait to open this was unbearable is an understatment. After reading what was on the back I was very eager to open the doors. And thanks to Jasmin I challenged myself to blog every day for twenty four days as I opened the calender.
And whilst there was products I didn't enjoy or that weren't suited towards me, there were more products I'd heard of or had already tried that I love. There were brands such as REN, Percy and Reed, Mio, Rosie For Autograph and Philip Kingsley to name a few.
As to which products I enjoyed the most it would have to be the skincare products I enjoyed the most. I'm a massive lover of skincare and believe that it doesn't hurt to pay a bit more to look after your skin. The Nude Lipstick I recieved and a couple of the haircare products I didn't enjoy but that's just because they weren't suited to what I need/look for in those products.
Overall I was highly impressed with this calender. Yes it's not as flash as some of the other beauty advent calenders on the market but as a first offering from Marks and Spencer's, it was brilliant first step into the market. The majority of the boxes I enjoyed and whilst there were some I didn't like the good outweighed the bad.
If Marks and Spencers decide to release another advent calender this year, I recommend that you snap one up as soon as you can, or even just take a peek at the box. It can only get bigger and better from here.
Did any of you have the M&S Calender? Did you like it? Or were the products not to your liking? Let me know in the comments.

Marks And Spencers Beauty Advent Calendar Day One
Holiday's Are Coming! Happy 1st of December! As it's finally gotten round to Advent Calendar season and there are tons of beauty advent calendars on the market now, I thought I'd take you through the one I've picked this year. This is the Marks and Spencers Beauty Advent Calendar, it contains 24 boxes, each containing either a travel sized of even a full sized product from on of their beauty ranges. And it was a bargain. It was only £25 when you spent £25 on beauty which to be honest isn't exactly hard.
From now until the 24th of December I'm going to be showing you each item I recieve in my calender and after Christmas once I've had a go of everything, I'm going to give you a full review of the calender and recommend whether it's worth trying if they release another one next year.
So on to Day One. In the very first box of M&S's calendar is the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer. Now I've heard about this product a lot and know a lot people consider it a cult product but I've never tried it so I am really looking forward to giving it a go.
If like me you've heard of it but never used, or if you haven't even heard of it, the elasticizer is a pre shampoo conditioning treament infused with five all natural oils. It helps give hair elasticity, movement and shine. Definitely sounds like it's right up my street.
I can't gurantee what time these posts will go up each day but I can guarantee that they will be in the evening. I hope you liked this post and are looking forward to seeing what's in future days.
