25 Day’s Of Beauty: Days Twelve And Thirteen

Welcome back to 25 Day’s Of Beauty. Today I’m combining days Twelve and Thirteen as I didn’t post yesterday.

In Day Twelve I received a travel sized tube of the Beautiful Butters Coconut Body Butter. This is a delightful body butter that isn’t too thick or greasy feeling but leaves skin feeling hydrated. It also smells divine. Unsurprisingly it stayed out of the box and whilst for some this is a filler product, I’m thoroughly enjoying this product.

And in Day Thirteen I received a travel sized bottle of the Shay and Blue White Peaches EDP Spray. We normally receive a Shay and Blue fragrance in the Calender and luckily it’s been a different scent each year. The White Peaches scent is nice but just a little bit too sweet for me. I’ll probably end up giving this to my mum or nan as they do prefer a sweeter scent.

Marks And Spencer Beauty Advent Calendar Day Twelve

Welcome back to Day Twelve in my 25 Days of Beauty Series where I show you what I get in my Marks and Spencers Advent Calender.

In today's box I recieved a travel sized bottle of the Pixi Rose Tonic. This is one of Pixi's newer releases and is suitable for those who can't use Glow Tonic or have sensitive skin in general. It's advertised as a soothing toner that helps with issues like dryness or redness. It claims to help minimise redness and calm skin whilst rehydrating and replenishing it.

I've tried this before and I believe it's the reason I had an breakout epidemic for a good fortnight afterwards. I'm not sure though so I'm not going to say it's terrible but it seemed like a coincidence that I started using this and then had breakout appears. If you can't use Pixi's legendary Glow Tonic then I recommend this. From what I remember it did feel quite lightweight and soothing on the skin.

Marks And Spencer Beauty Advent Calender Day Twelve

Welcome back to Day Three in my 25 Days of Beauty Series where I show you what I get in my Marks and Spencers Advent Calender.

I know I said one of the earlier boxes was my favourite but today's box has outdone that one. I had actually forgotten we were recieving a bottle of Liquid Gold Rose in the calender so this was a nice surprise. I actually recieved a bottle of the original Liquid Gold last year and fell in love with it and now have a full sized bottle I reach for reguarly. Liquid Gold Rose is a new release for the brand and combines the powerful Glycolic Acid formula of the classic Liquid Gold with rose extract to give skin an instant hydration boost whilst resurfacing and smoothing the skin.

As I said I already love the classic Liquid Gold so I'm really looking forward to trying out the Rose version. Liquid Gold has changed my skin for the better since I started using it last year, so I can not wait to see how my skin feels after using Liquid Gold Rose. A full review of this will probably appear here at some point and I can see myself paying out for a full sized bottle when this is empty.

Mark's and Spencer Beauty Advent Calender Day Twelve

Welcome back to Day Twelve of my Mark's and Spencer Beauty Advent Calender Unboxing.

In today's box I recieved the Look Good Feel Better Mini Powder Brush. If you don't know what Look Good Feel Better is then it's a cosmetics company that donates a percentage of it's products prices to cancer charities. This powder brush is a miniature version of the brush in their permanent collection.

First Impressions: As part of the calender I think this is just a bit of a filler product. The company is definitely helping towards a good cause and I would probably buy one if I saw it in the Beauty Hall of M&S but as a product in a calender I'm not so sure. It is ultra soft though and would be brilliant for powder application.

Marks and Spencers Beauty Advent Calender Day 11&12

Welcome back to Day Eleven and Twelve in my 24 Days of Beauty Series where I show you what I get in my Marks and Spencers Advent Calender. I have to apologise for not posting Day 11 on the 11th but I was out late and didn't get a chance to write the post. So I thought I'd pop the two days together.

In Day 11 box I recieved a sample sized bottle of Josh Wood Full Bodied Shampoo. It's a shampoo designed to work with coloured hair and contains Rice Proteins to protect the hair. I don't have coloured hair so I won't be using this but my mum does so I may give it to her and get her thoughts on it for my calender review.

And in Day Twelve I recieved a Diego Dalla Palma Lipstick. I believe it's a limited edition shade as when I looked at them online I couldn't find the shade anywhere. It's a beautiful peachy nude shade which I think they chose as it will suit a variety of skintones. It's a sheen finish lipstick which also makes a nude shade a good choice as they are so much easier to touch up than darker bolder shades. A full review will be posted once I've given it a proper try.

I'll see you all tomorrow for Day 13.
